FREE PRIDE PARTY

Reclaim Pride – Retro Party – Live Music – Dancing & Djs

The Glass Bar is sponsoring London’s only FREE Pride Party fund raiser for the small LGBTQ+ charities that provide much needed support for our community. Reclaim Pride event is a retro party celebrating over 40 years of Pride marches and wild parties. This magnificent event will be held at the Seven Dials Club in Covent Garden.

The Seven Dials Club is Covent Garden’s best kept secret. It is a stylish venue with comfortable seating, cheap bar and a great space to party. We will party to music from the first London Pride march in 1972 through to Clause (Section) 28 in 1988 and continuing to Gay Marriage in 2014. The party theme is a celebration of all we have achieved to date. We will have an incredibly talented, fun 80s band – Rubix 80s performing much loved songs from the 80s and fantastic Djs:- Jo Bunny (from Wotever) and Shady Lady (from POUT), turning up the heat on the dancefloor.

Entrance is FREE. Bar prices are very cheap for West End London, Seven Dials Club is nice and central with accessible facilities and all I ask is you donate (if you possible) some money to these charities:- East London Out Project (www.elop.org), London Friend (www.londonfriend.org.uk) and UK Lesbian and Gay Immigration Group (www.uklgig.org.uk).

Check out their website to see the wonderful work they do and their charity registration number.

Reclaim Pride is a party and the idea behind this event is to bring the ownership of Pride back to the community, making it a celebration of our successes and vibrant story of our on going journey to equality.

So here is the plan: The event is FREE so whether you donate or not you should get in – unless we are full.   The venue holds nearly 200 people with an amazing stage. Of course, priority will be given to those who donate.

£5 donation gets you through the door.

£10 donation gets you through the door and a glass of fizz.

£15 donation gets you through the door, fizz and a Reclaim Pride T-shirt.

You can give directly to the charities by visiting their website but to qualify for priority entrance you must use the link.

This is going to be an incredibly night.

Please note we do not give refunds unless the event is cancelled by the organiser.
